Frequently Asked Question

Learning guitar is like anything in life. The more time and effort you put in. The more you will get from the guitar. If you only play once a week and practice for less than 20 minutes, you will progress very slowly. However if you continue with you lesson plans and personal practice everyday. You will pick up the guitar in a matter of month.
I'd suggest trying to fit in at least 30 minutes a day. Its better to have short daily practice rather than once a week for an hour. Because this allows you to strengthen your dexterity in your and build up your playing ability. Which will make you a better player in a shorter amount of time. If your struggling for time during the day because of work. Why not try in between your lunch hour. That is what I used to do.
No, learning how to read music is something that we will learn about in the lessons. I try to focus on training your ear before teaching you theory. As this is a much more poewrful way to learn an instrutment. Focusing on building rhythm and learning how the get the most out of the guitar.
It's never too soon to start learning guitar. Children from as young as 2 or 3 can pick up the quitar very quickly and gain a passion for it in a short time. We teach all ages ranging from 0 - 16. It really depends on the comtiment of the child and the family. Please feel free contact us if you have anymore questions about your child learning to play the guitar. We are very happy to talk to you over the phone.
Yes, We have both acoutic and Electric that we can bring to your lessons if you don't have a guitar. But If you are serious abou getting good. We would suggest that you purchase one. This will allow you to practice in your own time. If you want to buy a cheap guitar, I would suggest looking at facebook market or gumtree. Both sites usually have cheap second hand guitars for sell. This is more than enough to get you started. We can also advice and help you purchase a guitar.
